Career & Technical Education
Overview
The Career and Technical Education department ensures all MPS students have access to career connected learning and supports the daily operations of three MPS Career and Tech Centers. CTE courses ensure MPS students have access to experiential learning opportunities aligned to regional workforce needs including internships, guest speakers, mentoring, job shadows, career days, and worksite tours. Advanced academic coursework associated with potential career options is supported through ensuring student access to industry-recognized certifications, stackable credentials, and articulated college credit.
