FAIR High School for the Arts

Overview

Does picking up a paintbrush, stepping on a stage, or writing a song transform you and allow you to truly express yourself? Are you looking for a high school that feels like home, where you can be accepted for who you are? Then we welcome you to The FAIR High School for Arts, which is THE place for artists and performers. Located in downtown Minneapolis at the gateway to the Arts District, The Fine Arts Interdisciplinary Resource (FAIR) School for Arts is a public 9-12 citywide magnet high school rooted in equity, innovation and creativity. All students, regardless of background or experience in the arts, or residence in Minneapolis, can request to attend FAIR and learn through arts-integrated classes and diverse downtown arts and career internship experiences. From performing on the stages of historic theaters to showcasing art at the X-Games, FAIR students see art not as an extracurricular activity, but core to their learning.
