Roofing Shop

Overview

The Roofing Shop’s work spans four essential phases of building protection: fabrication, where custom components are crafted for each facility; installation, which includes constructing and assembling roofing and drainage systems; maintenance, ensuring all systems continue to perform reliably; and testing, verifying that every component meets safety and performance standards. The Roofing Shop's most visible responsibility is preserving the structural integrity of rooftops. The team works with a wide range of roofing systems to maintain durable, weather resistant barriers that protect buildings from rain, snow, ice, and sun exposure. In addition, the team manages a comprehensive water control strategy using flashing, gutters, and other drainage elements to prevent water intrusion, protect building foundations, and improve safety around entrances and sidewalks used by students, staff, and visitors.
