Academic Programs

Overview

The Academic Programs department supports academic programming and services that span all content areas serving as a unifying throughline for the MPS student experience. In close collaboration with Core Academics, this department ensures that each student has access to their individualized path as they prepare to be contributing adult citizens. The department oversees Career and Technical Education (CTE) & Career Connected Learning, Counseling Services, Early College Credit, IB, AVID, Student Retention & Recovery, and all Title programs, with the exception of Title III, which is managed by the MLL/Magnet Department.
