Overview

The Research, Evaluation, and Assessment Department supports data-driven decision-making to improve student learning and advance district goals. It provides research, assessment, and evaluation services that guide instruction, school climate, improvement planning, and district-wide initiatives, including the strategic plan. REA drives academic achievement, equity, and school climate improvements by delivering actionable data, monitoring strategic initiatives, and ensuring instructional practices are evidence-based. The department plays a vital role in aligning assessments, curriculum, and professional development with student needs.
