Grant & Resource Development

Overview

The Grants & Resource Development Department is responsible for coordinating and managing the pre-award and post-award processes for all competitive grant proposals submitted by the district, departments, and schools. We assist with creating high quality applications, including reviewing and ensuring programmatic activities and budget are in compliance with Minneapolis Public Schools policy as well as funder requirements. We act as an intermediate between funders and Minneapolis Public Schools grant administrators for grant contract, budget, and reporting processes. The Grants Office assists with oversight of school and department grant implementation with approved scope, timeline and budget. We maintain and foster relationships with funders by ensuring all reporting is complete and in compliance with guidelines.
