Student Accounting

Overview

The Student Accounting Department maintains accurate student enrollment, attendance, and demographic data to support district operations, funding, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The department ensures student records are managed efficiently and used to inform decision-making across the district. The Student Accounting Department oversees compliance with Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requirements, including MARSS and Ed-Fi submissions, which directly affect district funding and accountability. The department collaborates closely with the Student Placement Department and school-based staff to maintain accurate student and family census data.
